Bye Oregon, Hello California- Day #3

We woke up and ate breakfast and started heading north, we stayed further north than I was anticipating so when we got to most of the stuff I wanted to see this day everything was still closed. We stopped to see Cape Blanco light house but it was closed for the season so we just took a few pictures and then walked around and enjoyed the beauty for a while.

Then we headed to gold beach to hunt for some glass floats. We had looked on the internet and found out that during February through April they hid glass floats along the beach so we decided we wanted to try our hand at finding one. 

After we searched around for a few hours then we headed down north to California and got out and played in the warm sand in Crescent City, California

We decided since we still had quite a bit of time before bed that we would work our way to see the redwoods. We went to the Lady Bird Johnson Grove and walked the little path through the large trees.

I had seen on the internet that there was a place you could drive your car through a tree and so on our way back to our hotel we drove thru.

For some reason this picture and his shirt made me smile.
