We carved pumpkins for Fhe on Monday night, the older my kids get the more they want something more than just two eyes, a nose, and a mouth, they want something more intricate. This is a lot of work on the parents part- We told them next year they will be carving there own, especially because Kendra had a small melt down when her mom messed up her pumpkin.

Aiden trick-door-treating.We had a great time at our ward party this year. We had yummy soup, bread, and
pumpkin pie, the kids had a costume parade and then we went around to different doors
in the church for trick-door-treating. It was a lot of fun! I loved that we
got a family picture.
These are the festivities so far we had our ward party, went to a costume Halloween birthday party, we carved pumpkins and we still have a full week with dressing up in our costumes for school on Thursday, and back into our costumes again on Friday going around trick or treating to the business , and costumes again on Saturday for Halloween!

ReplyDeleteGina--Ammon didn't choose me to be his special somebody at Mrs. Casterson's class either, so I know how you feel!!! But you are with your children every day, and you're always special in their lives, regardless of whether or not they pick you to read the book at school!!! Nobody can fill your role as their mother! And being their mother is still better than being a special visitor just one day a year at school!!!
