Vacation Day #8

Day number 8 we went to the museum of natural history in Los Angeles

 

 

they had a butterfly pavilion where you could go and spend a set amount of time

observing all the different species of butterflies. At the end of the time they frisked

you to make sure you weren't trying to smuggle any butterflies out.

this thing was kinda fun and drew the attention of every kid that walked by.

It was a rattlesnakes point of few so basically it just sensed the heat of your body.

After we left the museum we didn't go back to the beach house like everyone else

we went to say goodbye to my sister. We picked her and her boyfriend up and went to in In-N-Out

and then to 7-11 for free Slurpee's in honor of 7/11 day and then we headed to this fun little park

to eat our lunch.

After lunch we took my sister and her boyfriend back and said good bye and headed back to Brian and Lee Ann's. We packed up our stuff and got ready to head out the next morning. The next morning we grabbed doughnuts and got on the road. We were going to drive as far as we could and then stop for the night but when David checked out the gps he noticed that there was a highway right after you go through Vegas that took you through Jackpot and then Twin falls and was suppose to be a lot faster. Once we got on that road it became apparent that David had home on the brain and so in true Hobbs fashion we went all the way home that night/morning. (fyi. it wasn't a ton shorter!)
